Colleague, if you are interested in
starting or expanding your online business here are some resources
which I have found very helpful.
First off you want to make sure you are backing up your files.
If you don't have a secure backup system I suggest you use Mozy.
I use it for remote backup of all of my files.

Here is the link to Godaddy. You would use this to establish
your web site and establish a URL
Here is the link to 1Automationwiz. You would use this to
establish your shopping cart, accept and process online orders, and manage your client list.
If you wanted to accept credit cards, here is the link to the credit card
merchant processor that I use.
Here is the link to Microsoft Expressions. This is the successor to
Frontpage. Also a couple of links to helpful books which will help you with
Microsoft Expressions and with understanding Search Engine Optimization,
or how to optimize your website so it can be found by Google, Bing,
and Yahoo.
Here are my affiliate links to Amazon and Expedia. Any time you
go into either of these sites just use these links. You may
want to copy the link and put it on a shortcut on your desktop.
Here is the link to GotoMeeting. This is what I use for
webcasting.
Commission Junction is the largest affiliate clearinghouse out
there. You can see all of their affiliates at
www.cj.com. If you wanted to
see if a favorite manufacturer offers an affiliate program then do a
web search with the manufacturer name plus the word "affiliate".
Another one out there is Linkshare. You can find them here:
Here is the link to Amazon Associates. This allows you to get
a commission on any Amazon referrals that you do.:

Here are the Microsoft Ad Publisher links. Each time someone
clicks on these I get revenue (currently about $.50-$2.00 per click).
Their program is in beta right now; after you get your web site
build I can hook you up with someone there so they can review your
site and determine if you're eligible to be included in the program.
